The Warwick Network for Parish Research

The Warwick Network for Parish Research was established in 2002 to facilitate the study of British and European parishes c. 1300-1800. It hopes to support a wide range of works on religious, social, political and cultural aspects as well as interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives. The annual Warwick Symposium on Parish Research brings together academics from wide variety of disciplines in May each year: details and abstracts can be found on the Network's website.

A special symposium to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the network is being organised for 2012 in association with Christianity & Culture and is on the theme of 'Parish studies today'. It is hoped that this event will bring particpants from an even wider field, including parish churches and local groups and societies. For more information click here...
